OUR HOTELS
This is going to be a very very busy time in South Africa. Hotels will be bursting at their seams! But we have been on the ground since late 2019, inspecting and contracting the widest range of accommodation for our clients. We will be offering 3 grades (3 star, 4 star and 4.5 star) and 4 styles (hotels, apartments, villas, boutique luxury). So whatever your desire, we will have the answer.
All hotels will offer security, especially at night. If in any doubt, ask the hotel staff before venturing out. As a general rule visitors to Johannesburg and certain areas of Cape Town do not leave a hotel on foot after dark. You take a taxi, Uber or the hotel bus to a large entertainment complex (like MonteCasino or Century City) which is security controlled. Here you will find 50-200 cafes, restaurants, bars, cinemas etc. Some areas of Cape Town (V & A and Sea Point for example) allow guests to wander the streets with little concern. We will be providing a HELPFUL HINTS sheet later on, giving guidelines for travel in South Africa.
Because of the wide range of hotels contracted it would be impossible to feature each one on our website. However, following are brief descriptions around each style and grade. Please take as a guide and if you have any questions, please do call us on +44 07497 304 284 or email: sales@worldrugbytravel.co.uk
GRADE
3 star - this will be a modern property similar to a Holiday Inn Express or Premier Inn, in the UK. Functional, clean, with ensuite bathrooms, small public lounge area and cafe serving breakfast and light dinners. These will include Town Lodge & City Lodge Hotels.
4 star - more along the lines of a Holiday Inn Hotel in the UK. Larger, bigger lounbge area. Separate bar and all day dining. Rooms will be larger and ensuite.
4.5 star - Like a Marriott/Hilton Hotel in the UK. These are more grand, international in their market reach. They will tend to offer more than one restaurant. Often a more central position and closer to cafes, restaurants, etc.
BREAKFAST
Please read the inclusions on each product page. In 99% of cases a full breakfast (normally a buffet) is included in your tour price. However if staying in an apartment, its normal that breakfast is not included.
LUNCH/DINNER
Few hotels feature a lunch service as most people are out and about during the day. In the evenings all will offer a dinner service. Often in smaller properties this will be a set menu. Room service in 3 and 4 star hotels often involves picking up the tray of food from the restaurant - staff do not tend to deliver to the room.
HOW TO BOOK
Its simple. All our prices are per person in the room type, hotel etc, of your choice from the drop down menus.
Select the hotel/room type/ticket category and ADD TO CART
Now you increase the number of guests per room (so if booking a double you need to increase the QUANTITY to 2, a twin the same, but a single is just 1 person). Automatically the value of the cart increases.
If booking more than one room, simply click CONTINUE SHOPPING in the CART, return to your chosen trip and repeat the process. Do this for each room type. This also allows you to buy different styles of room depending on your needs.
Time to pay. You can choose 2 schemes.
A - If buying outside the 12 weeks cut off you click the INSTALLMENTS button in the middle. This takes you to the secure payment pages of Partial.ly.
B - If paying in full (ie: after 23rd April 2021) click the FULL PAYMENT button. This takes you to the PayPal secure server.
We accept all credit and debit cards.
